iRead Pod for BlogCFC
TechnicalI've been wanting to get my hands dirty with Google's (linked just in case you're not sure what this crazy Google thing is) new AJaX feed API since I read about it the other day. I was planning to wait until my iRead pod for BlogCFC was approved (or disapproved) for inclusion on RIAForge, but that seems to be taking longer than expected (not that I had any reason to expect anything at all - this is my first submission and I only submitted it yesterday :-) and I got impatient to move forward. Today, as luck would have it, an opportunity presented itself so I got to it.
I like it. I think I like it a lot. I used the iRead pod as a functional test bed and my first impression was "Damn, this is quick." I mean it screams. The pod loses a little bit of functionality - a very little bit - and isn't for everyone for reasons that I'll go into in a future post, but I think I may fork the pod code base and offer two versions.
